So, I have had my SC-2 since April and have been enjoying it very much. This is my first guitar with the hole on top of the post instead of the side on the tuning machines. I was able to figure out that I needed to snip the strings before I started to wind them. I snipped the high E a little too short and had to open another pack of strings to get it right the second time. I just thought I would post this site that gives great instructions on how to string these properly.

Click on Tech support , then perfect guitar, then click " Keeping it in TUNE ".
Not that most people on this forum wouldn't know this already but its a great site.
I felt like such a dumb ass. My S-500 has locking tuners so it made me lazy.
Thats it , good night !
