knobs on the S-500

I'd like to use standard Strat/Legacy knobs on my S-500, but the problem is that the shaft size is wrong. It seems like without changing out the pots, there's no way to find strat knobs that will fit. Has anybody here found a better way to do this? I'd prefer to leave the original pots in it.

Unless you can find Strat style knobs which fit on a solid shaft, your other option is to replace the S-500 pots with Legacy pots. See the G&L On-line store Electronics page. You can also get the Legacy knobs there too.
