I have an Asat classic bridge pup that needs a new partner

The place to discuss, post photos, video, and audio of the G&L products (US instruments, stomp boxes, etc.) produced after 1991, including the amps & gear we use with them.

I have an Asat classic bridge pup that needs a new partner

Post by pico peachy »

Apologies in advance if this is a redundant question. I tried to seek out any previous discussion on this topic but didn't have any luck.

I am building a baritone on an ASAT/T-body frame. I have the stock bridge pickup from my ASAT Classic Custom available to use. (I put a SD Hot Rail in my Classic Custom-very nice stuff..). I am wondering what I can use in the neck for my baritone project. I am not ruling out picking up an ASAT Classic neck pup but exploring my options. It will have to be single coil size-no buckers or large MFDs... Put another way, is there something I should avoid because of a difference in output or other issues...??

Thanks, Paul :happy0007:   8-) :|
