30th Anniversary S-500 How Many?

Post by Swindog »

Hi all,

i'm very close to pulling the trigger on a 30th Anniversary S-500. I was just curious if anyone could tell me how many 30th Anniversary S-500s were made.

Thanks

Hi John,

Hard to tell. The 30th Anniversary could be ordered up to December 31, 2010, and was neither a Limited Edition with a fixed production number nor a Special Built model which specific batch sizes. Although,in the end the total number ordered for each model is of course the batch size and that number is exactly what you are interested in for your S-500. Anyway, I'm not entirely sure whether all orders have been fulfilled by now or not. But I do believe that when that is done, numbers will become available. At least I hope so ...

Thanks. I did end up getting it and so far I am really impressed. The pickups are a lot hotter than I thought they were when I was at the shop. I can push some really great tones on my Roadster with it. Loving it so far.
