Is it possible to order a new ASAT Z-3 with replacement S-500 pickups instead of the Z coils?

You would need to ask a G&L dealer/distributor to contact the factory and see if they would build one for you. You would be asking for them to build you an ASAT III, which was discontinued
in 1998. It certainly does not hurt to ask.
