Hi fellow G&L members, I own 2 ASAT Classics and really like them alot. But I am always experementing with different aftermarket parts on most guitars I own. I have a set of Ron Ellis pickups that I want to try out that should sound really good. No problem there. But I also want to swap out the bridge for a traditional 3 saddle vintage bridge. I have a Joe Barden bridge that I want to try out and it looks like all the holes line up. Does anyone have any experience with swapping out their ASAT bridges?
Thank you

I have that experience. If the holes line up and you've already bought it then put it on. One thing though - it's not an upgrade, more like a sideways move. The standard G&L bridge is, IMO, top notch.
Good luck with it, and be sure to post some pictures of them ASATs when you're done!

Thanks blarg.... I agree it's a sideways move. All the parts on these G&L's are top notch. I just like the traditional 3 saddle look and the barden bridge has a small cutout where your pinky lies. I'll post some pictures when its finished.
