Hey there kind people,
My ASAT Special has been my main gigging axe for about a decade. As a am a palm heavy player, I have worn the metal down on the low E string saddle to the point that I can no longer adjust the height on the one side no matter what I try. I have an annoying buzz going on on the low E, even after a professional setup by a top local guy - granted he got everything else feeling great.
My question is: Is it possible to find a replacement for the saddle(s) itself, or am I stuck buying a whole new bridge? i have looked on the G&L website but cannot find the saddles alone... Are there aftermarket saddles that will fit and work well? As a poor musician it pains me to shell out the dough for a whole new bridge + saddles, when the bridge is perfectly fine.
Thanks in advance for any advise or help.
P.S. Love the forum - I have learned a lot lurking around here

Re: saddle replacement on ASAT Special
Call the folks at G&L. They had saddles on their site in the past. Or a local dealer.

Re: saddle replacement on ASAT Special
I would like to buy new saddles for my Asat as well, but the only Italian distributor doesn't answer to my emails.
