The place to discuss, post photos, video, and audio of the G&L products (US instruments, stomp boxes, etc.) produced after 1991, including the amps & gear we use with them.
My Spalted maple Legacy is now en-route to me in the UK. I cannot wait for it to arrive and have a bash on it. Obviously I know you are all a skeptical bunch and need photos before its real....trust me, when it lands you will see it.
I have an Asat classic Tribute as it is - so i am looking forward to working out the comparisons between them for tone and certain styles. Other than the strat style (Legacy) guitars I played leading up to me ordering this, I've not spent a great deal of time on a strat. Some people seem to love them, some hate them. I know it suits my hands and style - but i thought i would ask the legacy lovers amongst you - what does the Legacy do for you? How do you find them to play? Anything I should know about this new woman in my life?

Its stunning. Pictures will follow, but I canot put it down for long enough at the moment to go unpack the camera....I will also register it shortly as well.
If you can track one down - don't think twice - get one. I love it.
The finish is flawless, straight out of the box. It travelled from the USA to UK - no problems at all. No neck movement, no bangs and bumps. I gave it a short time to adjust to tempretaure and it only needed a small adjustment to be in tune.
It has some nice spalting on it, as you will soon see when i post pictures.
