Steel to Brass Saddles?

When did G&L replace the steel saddles on the ASAT/Bluesboy to brass?

All versions of the ASAT Classic Bluesboy have brass saddles. The ASAT Classic did have steel saddles until 1999 when G&L
switched to the brass saddles (according to Greg Gagliano: reference ASAT Classic Signature (1990)).
