G&L Factory Tour Video

Post by jnnagel88 »

Hi!
Found this video on youtube. I think this is a new one, although I'm not completly sure. There are several factory tour videos on youtube.
But it's worth a watch. Enjoy!

I agree, it's a good promo video, but not a factory tour. ;)

Another good thing: Thomann, one of the biggest sellers of musical instrument stuff in Europe, is now selling some US made G&L instruments and gear. But no tributes so far and pictures are still mostly missing: http://www.thomann.de/gb/search_dir.html?sw=G%26L

Turn off the volume - then it's a factory tour... ;)

12:49 of awesomeness, I really didn't appreciate how much work on G&L was done by hand until I saw this vid.
some of it looks like it could have been lifted from that vid of the fender factory in the "50s that was floating around here a while back. especially the hand sanding and polishing.

Awesome! Very nice to see how lovingly these guitars are made! No huge production lines, a lot of attention to detail and quality, very nice
Caparison - Dean USA - ESP - G&L - Mayones
Diezel - Engl - Splawn Amps
KFK-QZ1 - Relay G90 - ProStage Remote Wah & XDS - WH4

I found this to be a most enjoyable and informative tour of the G&L factory and explanation of the painstaking process that goes into making these fine musical instruments. I would love to make a pilgrimage one day if i'm ever able to. No wonder they sound so damn good (even when I play 'em) :shocked003:
My hat goes off to all the dedicated G&L staff /craftsmen & women who make these fine guitars
These babies have never let me down and I play 'em long and hard. They're worth every cent!
