BBE Bench Press Demo

Post by Craig »

Classic riffs like Lynyrd Skynyrd's Sweet Home Alabama showcase the unmistakable pump and twang of a vintage compressor. The Bench Press brings back the magic and delivers all the goodness without the headaches. Consistency and reliability are hallmarks of BBE stomp boxes, and you'll find the same attention to detail in the Bench Press. The heart of the Bench Press is a New-Old-Stock CA3080 OTA (Operational Transconductance Amplifier), backed by 1% metal film resistors and True Hard-wire bypass for better fidelity. What's more, the Bench Press features an Attack control to offer players more flexibility than they had back in the day. It just doesn't get any better than this.

In this demo we're using a G&L Legacy through the Bench Press into a vintage Fender Deluxe to bust out that classic Skynyrd riff.

I received one of these for my last stint as the Lunch Reporter. This is a really nice sounding pedal. Even though I did not shell out any money for this pedal, if I had tried it at a music store, I most likely would have paid the money to take it home. If you are looking for a well built, great sounding compressor, this is the one.
