Hello ~S~
Newbie question :
Looking for 1 ASAT on the Bay, i found some guitars with a two pîeces maple neck
I was thinking the maple neck was usually made from a single piece of maple, with the G&L traditionnal longitudinally cutting ?
.
Maple neck; one piece or two pieces with maple fretboard ?

G & L no longer builds the bi-cut neck. The new necks have the truss rod inserted from the top with the fret board covering the truss rod route. Therefore, even maple fret boards are now "glued" on to the neck. I'm not sure when the change was made but it caused quite a ruckus on the old forum.
