They have individual pickup routs, not swimming pool routed.

You should definitely take the existing pickguard off before ordering a clear guard. There might be a rout for the wiring
that is hidden under the pickguard. I don't have a picture of an ASAT Special without the pickguard, but here is an ASAT Classic body without the pickguard:
