Gold?

I didn't see gold as an option on the G&L options page. Has anyone ever had a gold bridge/tuners on a G&L?

Hi,

You likely saw this thread that popped up this week. If not, there is a lot of useful information there. I have a couple of guitars with gold hardware finish. The tuning machines are the ordinary brands (Sperzel or Schaller) in gold finish, either matte or plated. The gold plated bridge it the most obvious element. And when you have gilded pole pieces the package is really complete. Here's a pics of my 'golden' duo:

I missed that thread. Beautiful stuff, wish they still offered it. Didn't realize gold plating was real gold, just thought it was a color mixed into the metal somehow.
