Hat off to "Ches"

Post by glvourot »

I just wanted to acknowledge forum member " Ches ". I recently aquired a beautiful S-500 and posted pics and a little blurb about it. I had mentioned that I had only two tremolo springs instead of three. He was kind enough to email me to mention that he had a spare one sitting in his tool box. He asked if I wanted it, I said " Hell ya ". And he mailed it to me. Very cool, thoughful act that I hope to pass on in kind to somebody else. Thank you very much Ches, the guitar gods look upon you kindly.

Thanks for the kind words, and I'm glad it got there safe and sound. That S-500 needed 3 springs! There's been a lot of good karma flying around the G&L community in the past, and for me it starts with Darth. One heck of a great guy and generous beyond belief. He sets the benchmark.

Let's all keep the positive vibes flowing!

Awesome work. I run a guitar with 2 springs atm, heavy springs though.
