BBE SupaCharger---a review

Post by jazzrat »

My intro to BBE electronics was the Green Screamer I received as the spiff for being lunch reporter.
Great sounding little box and got me interested in the BBE line in general.
I have been using a Visual Sound One Spot to power my pedal board for some time.
It's a fine unit from a fine company. For some reason the wacky lighting in our church causes a lot of line noise issues.
Thought I'd try another power supply since I needed more connections than the One Spot offers without more daisy chains.
After some reading I ordered the SupaCharger. (posted a great place to buy in the PSA forum).
Built like a tank, with maybe a couple less features than the VoodoLabs PP2 but everything I need.
Nice little manual but I did have one question I needed clarified about which way is up/down when setting the dip switches.
A quick helpful call to BBE and I was up and running.
Used the board last night a practice. Definatley less hum.
Here is the line up Visual Sound Jekyll & Hyde> BBE Green Sceamer> EB Volume> Boss DD20>Boss DD3> Boss PH 3 > Boss CE-5
Also powered my tuner.
Great product at a great price.

Fully agree Mr jazzrat! Have had mine about 2 years and fits the bill, and does it quietly.
