Stunning woodwork. I haven't researched it, because it would kill me to think about ordering (financially, that is), But I guess SWater takes orders for the G&L Custom shop?

Either that or their buyers collab with the craftsmen at G&L to come up with the build specs.

Whatever the case, the output I've seen posted here is nothing short of amazing.
Thanks Craig.

I built these fancy top Matador V's specifically to collab with both Aguilar and Sweetwater.

Sometimes Sweetwater, or any other dealer for that matter, will spec out a custom build idea with me and we'll make it happen. Other times the builds are done specifically in collaboration with the end-user directly and the dealer/sales person is simply the intermediary to make that happen.

Other times, I put together an idea and build the instruments out, and they're sold as a group to one dealer that's interested. That's what happened with the "Icon Inspired" line I did last year, the re-imagined famous strats, as well as the Paisley ASAT run I did. That was just me riffing off an idea, and Sweetwater happened to like it.
