Hey all,
First post here. I’ve had my Doheny V12 for a couple of years now and absolutely love it. Pickups are not real high output but the tones available are amazing.
Question I have is I am getting interference from a local ham radio. Occasional popping etc then at times hear a guy talking, nice.
I am using good cords and go through a JHS Violet pedal (clean boost) into a Fender Mustang GTX 100. I always play using headphones.
Sometimes I will get a random popping sound when the pedal is on even with the guitar volume off. What I have noticed is that the pedal does make a little noise when on.
The question I have is with the guitar volume off and the pedal on there is always a slight amount of noise.
What I have noticed though is that if I touch the bass pot on the guitar the noise increases.
If I touch the volume or treble knob the noise is less?
Was just wondering if this points to any kind of grounding issue etc?
Thanks in advance,
Robert

If you remove the pedal from the chain is the noise still there?
