M-2500

Post by joel406 »

My tribute M-2500 arrived today. So far, I'm digging it. I just started my G&L journey. Got a US L-2500 a couple of weeks ago. Really like it so I decided I wanted an M-2500. Found the tribute and a USA for sale. Bought both. The USA arrives next Wednesday. Very excited. From what I can tell so far, the M-2500 is gonna be the big winner for tone shaping. The L-2500 plays and sounds great but I think the electronics of the M-2500 may be better. Regardless all 3 are going to be keepers. I already have 9 American Pro and Pro II basses. As well as the new Squier 6 string. So, I'm fully outfitted. Leo was the man when it came to bass making. To bad I really never cared for the Music man stuff.

Congrats on the M-2500, sounds like a good start to covering your bass options. Gotta have pics.

As far as tone shaping, what type of music do you typically play?

Hey Sam.

We play Rock. Don't know how to describe rock anymore. Up beat.

The tone controls of the L vs M. So far I feel like the L is set it and forget it. While the M likes to be tweaked here and there a bit. But it's fun.

As far as pics. I haven't figured out how to do that here yet.
