Hiya overdrive fans!
I just became a DOD Overdrive Preamp 250 owner (gift) and looking for tips and tricks from any current owners or previous users. After a cursory plug in to test I can see where it has its place in the low gain pedal world, but not an always on pedal or replacement for Green Screamer, Full Drive, or similar.
It seems the gain needs to be pretty high to achieve best effect to me. Haven’t tried it stacked with anything but will do soon. Low gain and higher level has a boost effect, but if I need that I go to my trusty Boosta Grande.
