Hi, this is Chris from Siracusa, Italy. After some adjustements from a friend of mine the sound of the bass is largely changed. It loose attack and sound smoother. Sharing the SN of the pickup and a couple of photo there's someone that could try to help me to know is everything ok?
Pickup SN: PTP3008 EPB BLK(10000)
The wires of the pickups are grey, blue and black (differently as the ones on the G&L store.
Thank you in advance

Re: G&L Tribute LB-100 pickup check/info
The Tribute Series LB-100 pickups are built to G&L Specifications at the Indonesia Cort factory. I guess that the wire colors are not included in those specifications.chrisclarecharged wrote:Hi, this is Chris from Siracusa, Italy. I do not have a chart of the Pickup Part Numbers for the pickups that Cort builds for the G&L Tribute Series models, so I cannot say whether or not that pickup in your
bass is the stock pickup built by Cort.
Do you know what adjustments were made to the pickup and/or circuit? If it was just raising or lower the pickup, you should be able to make adjustments up or down to
the pickup to find the sound you want.
You might check over at Ken Baker's BassesbyLeo.com forum for more information on this bass.
Here is a post over there which might help: LB100 Volume / Tone controls.
For posting photos on this site, see: Tutorial: Posting photos.
If you can post some photos of the pickup and wiring of this bass, it might help.
