Hello everyone,
someone proposed to me to swap an esp vintage plus with an asat classic.
No serial number found on the register.
No papers, no orignial hard case e no other info.. the guy said he bought it from another guy several years ago.
I noticed that the serial on the headstock seems legit regarding "CLF" font but the number is a little bit out of line, it seems strange to me because not perfectly printed.
is this a legit Asat classic? From a quick research it shloud be a 2002.
Many thanks for your advices

howdy onesrv, looks like the real deal to me.
early to mid 2000 decade. i have a 2007 with that kind of serial number which doesn't line up straight.
perhaps they used separate CLF and numeric decals for the SN then, or different fonts for letters/numbers, or both.
you could check the neck and body dates if you are comfortable removing the neck.
looks like a 7.5 fretboard radius, probably has a nice feel. pretty burst too.
