What type of Body Wood was used on a Early '84 Skyhawk
Can you tell without taking it apart?

It depends but most Sky hawks were ash bodied. If it is a clear finish it is probably ash. Solid finish could be ash or maple...even mahogany. You may be able to tell the body wood by removing the control plate and inspecting the cavity. If you send or post me a decent picture I could probably identify it for you.
Heaven goes by favor. If it went by merit, you would stay out and your dog would go in.
