Heard about this forum from a friend and am glad to be here.

I've bought three G&Ls so far, all 80's models. They continue to be the hidden gems of the "vintage Fender" timeline.

The first was a 1980 F-100 in sunburst, followed by an SC-3 (pre-pickguard version) and a Cavalier.

I've also built a parts guitar with three Z-coils because they rock. I feel like the folks around these parts probably get why. What fantastic pickups.

Welcome and it sounds like yer off to a great start with the G&L collection ya got going. You got a lot of the bases covered and more with the Cavalier. I’m a huge fan of Z coils as well, especially in an ASAT.

Post pics when ya get a chance, we love to see what’s out in the wild. Tell us about what style you’re playing as well.

Remember, you can never have too many ASAT’s!
