I purchased a Zoom H2N digital recorder a couple weeks ago with the intention of improving my home recording efforts. I am currently using the recorder strictly as a USB mic to record direct to GarageBand. I've never used GarageBand (or anything of the sort) before so I'm still fumbling through the process.
I threw together this demo of my new/used Dr. Z yesterday afternoon. Bluesboy 90 neck p'up straight into amp save for a little reverb pedal in the loop and a bit more reverb added in GarageBand. Slightly tweaked the eq for high/mid bump.
Any thoughts on the overall sound/eq appreciated. Any tips for recording guitar with GarageBand also welcomed.
A couple bad notes jump out of the mix too much but overall I'm fairly pleased with my initial results with the Zoom. Of course I think some quality is lost when uploading to Youtube??
