The Power of the Pots in MFDs

Post by The Real Jake »

Bastard Sons of Leo Fender,

I freakin’ love MFD pickups! I’m
trying to install them myself

In Regard to G&L Asats, Bluesboys, do they normally use 250K or 500K Pots? Specifically, what pots might be used with G&L MFD pickups; are their pots/wiring unique?

I ask because I’m trying to install them in a MIM Telecaster. Trying to make my Tele sound like a G&L…

Check out the GbL Gallery. For the information you are seeking, see: Album: Instrument Manuals and Wiring Schematics.
Pay particular attention to the required mod to the bridge MFD pickup of the ASAT Classic Bluesboy.
Also, check out this post: List of pickups used in G&L guitars.

Hope this helps.
