The place to discuss, post photos, video, and audio of the G&L products (US instruments, stomp boxes, etc.) produced after 1991, including the amps & gear we use with them.

It was a rainy day 30 years ago when Leo Fender went home...

Posted today on G&L's facebook page:
It was a rainy day 30 years ago when Leo Fender went home from his CLF Research factory for the last time.
He told his wife Phyllis “I’ve given all I can to the musicians. It’s time to go now.” Then he took a nap and never woke up.
Feels like he’s still around though, inspiring and guiding

“The man is gone now, but his spirit is still with us.” That hasn’t changed in 30 years, and it won’t as long as John and I are around
