Which is the serial number of my G&L legacy?
Hi guys,
I have a G&L Legacy made in USA I bought in 2008 in Greece.
My guitar has a serial number on the Headstock
but with the guitar came also a certificate that has a different serial number. why the number in the certificate is different ? which one is the correct one?
Also can I use the serial number to access some database in order to find the exact specs for my guitar?
thank you very much in advance,
Thanos

The one on the guitar is the correct S/N. The dealer/distributor must have include the wrong COA certificate in the caseThanos Raptakis wrote:

when they sold it to you. I checked our G&L Registry and neither of the serial numbers have been added by any of our GbL members.
I suggest contacting Memo Romero, who is the G&L Service Manager. His email address is repairs@glguitars.com.
He will be able to look up the CLF46081 serial number in the factory records and tell you the detailed specs.
Ask him if he can send you a replacement COA with the CLF46081 serial number.
Hope this helps.
