DFV tension screw missing.

The place to discuss, post photos, video, and audio of the G&L products (US instruments, stomp boxes, etc.) produced after 1991, including the amps & gear we use with them.

DFV tension screw missing.

Post by surfco »

I lost the DFV tension screw. Any hacks I can use to make the bar tighter other than having to buy the set screw from the GL online store?
Thanks.

Plumbers teflon tape, maybe some thin plastic stretched over the bar threads if you don't have teflon tape,
...just brainstorming.
probably won't last ...but it might be good for a while ??

I'm sure you can find the specs for the screw and pick up something at a local hardware store. But I must ask, Why not just spring for the screw from the G&L webstore? It can't be that expensive...
