I just saw Milts Broadcasters for sale on Reverb. $30,000 each or $50,000 for the pair.
Smith Music was a twice a year trip for me for several years. He told me the story of these Broadcasters once with a fantastic grin on his face. He told me that Leo had gifted him with
the first Broadcaster. He told me that he then asked Leo to send his wife one. To his surprise Leo came through and sent the next serial numbered guitar to Milts beautiful store.
Milt was very proud of his friendship with G&L and with his neighbors in Kalamazoo. Great stories.
These two Broadcasters are special. With the consecutive early serial numbers, unplayed and with this history it doesn't and won't get better. Unplayed consecutive numbers? Incredible.
