Greetings,
Been a while since I've posted here, but was hoping i could some info answered.
What are the route dimension for the dual fulcrum G&L trem bridge? Does it use a standard Fender 2pt spacing route (don't think so), or possibly standard Floyd Rose spacing/route? I want to put a G&L bridge in a Warmoth body.
I've recently discovered the joy of building guitars (buying a neck and body, doing the finish and modding to taste). I've put together 2 guitars now from Warmoth parts, and on the last, I used a Wilkinson VS100 trem. Very nice unit with good tone. However, I picked my G&L the other night (forgot how nice of a guitar this is) and realized I like the G&L bridge better than the Wilky. G&L bridge is more dynamic and feels like it has more mass.

I don't have the dimensions, but here are photos of the routes:

Re: G&L Trem route dimensions
Appreciate it. I looked at my Fender Strat vs the G&L, and the posts on the G&L are spaced a little wider apart. Wonder if this would be a Floyd Rose spacing?Craig wrote:I don't have the dimensions, but here are photos of the routes:
