RIP Hal Ketchum 67

Post by sam »

Very sad day for the country music world, and for anyone who loves a beautiful voice telling wonderful stories. Hal Ketchum passed away due to dementia complications.

I saw him at a small auditorium in Wabash Indiana in 1994 when he was touring behind the “Every Little Word” album. Was not a fan at the time but my wife and I were given tickets from a dear friend of mine. (Thank you Jim) That night I became a Hal Ketchum fan. When he sang “Stay Forever” that moment and that song has stuck with me and one I think of my wife every time I play it. He had so many more great songs as well!

Trouble posting video from my phone, but here is the video.
