Hey there,
Your guitar is old enough (1997) that by then G&L was using their CLF-100 as the stock pickup. Does that make yours CLF-100s? Below, the bottom of a set of CLF-100 pickups on a 2001 George Fullerton Signature (left) and a 2009 Phyllis model
'Blondie' (right) built by the Custom Creations Department in the day.

The pole pieces are more flush with the bottom of the bobbin. So I can neither confirm nor refute your set of pickups to be CLF-100s.
For comparison, this is a set of SSL-2 pickups on a 1993 Legacy:
There the stickers are a dead giveaway so yours for sure are not a set of SSL-2s.
Providing DC-R values for these pup might be helpful. Is that possible for you? The CLF-100 generally is slightly north of 7kΩ on my guitars (about 7.1kΩ) whereas the SSL-2s are slightly south with a larger variance (6.3kΩ-6.6kΩ).
Not the best help I can give you. But alas ...
