G&L Model Updated w/ working pics

Post by lpd »

Hi
I was told this is a mid 2000s G&L Legacy RMC but my gut is telling me it’s a Deluxe. Bridge seems to be a deluxe model. PS any idea what the stick mark on the back of the neck is?

As you thought, this is a Legacy Deluxe not a Legacy RMC.

The Legacy Deluxe came into production in 2001 until 6/2015.
The Legacy RMC came into production in 2016.
Reference post: Production List of G&L Instruments (USA).

The serial number on this guitar indicates that the build year is either 2008 or 2009.

Regarding the sticker mark on the back of the neck, it is likely a sticker put there by the seller or a previous owner. It is not
something that the factory would put on the back of the headstock during production.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for confirming. Still a nice guitar and plays wonderfully. The maple cap on the top is so perfectly matched I can’t actually find the seam :)
