S-500 1996? never played

Post by tjbosshardt »

I recently bought a S-500 in a pawn shop. The pick guard plastic is still intact. The plastic does not have any pick marks. The only show of age is some light changes to the metal on the bridge and frets. It is museum condition. Came with the letter of authenticity and hang tag with inspection signature. I'm not exactly sure what I have, but it is heavy and beautiful.

Sounds to me like a really good purchase.

Congrats on what sounds like a great find!

Now, how about posting some photos of your S-500? As we say, it does not exist without proof. ;)
To post photos here, see: Tutorial: Posting photos.

Looking forward to seeing your guitar and don't forget to add it to our G&L Registry, too.
Also, please do post a introduction post in the Introductions sub-forum.

The world is full of guitars bought by those who intended to learn how to play but never found time to do it. Maybe that's one of them.

Yeah. My friend's grandma bought a 67 Les Paul. It sat around for 40 years.
