Fullerton Standards to be discontinued?

Post by pollo »

I was watching a shop demo (from 17 Mar 2020) of a G&L ASAT Classic Fullerton in Spanish Copper when the demonstrator says that "the Fullerton Standards are going to be discontinued."

Has anyone else heard this? Has there been an official announcement from the company?

Here's the link to the relevant part of the video:

Yes, the Fullerton Standard models were discontinued in January 2020. See: January 23, 2019-present G&L U.S. Specifications & Options.
You will also see that the Fullerton Deluxe models now come with a G&L deluxe gigbag instead of the deluxe tolex case.
Also, they have removed the Fullerton Standard models from their glguitars.com website.
