Hey Pol,

I have only seen ASAT Specials and ASAT Deluxes with a Bigsby B5 model which in olden days were recessed in the body but since 2016 (I think) flush-mounted on the body.

But you are talking about a Bluesboy so you'd either need a B5T model with baseplate or a Bigsby B16 Telecaster model. I have no experience with that but I can foresee some problems in location of mounting holes, pickup size, and pickup angle you should be aware of. The linked page for the B5T has a link to this video at the bottom showing how to moun theunit on a Squire Tele.

Good luck! Let us know how things go if you decide to do it.

Here is one done by the G&L Custom Shop last year:
Custom Shop ASAT Bluesboy Semi-Hollow in Blue Burst....

If you do it yourself, please post some photos of the process you used in The Project Page.

Here is one that was posted there: Bluesboy Bigsby Conversion- Details-Long.

Hope this helps.
