stamped logo & serial number

stamped logo & serial number

My G&L s 500 series 2 has a G&L logo above & below a serial number but they are stamped into the wood.
The serial number looks like 72012314.
Any thoughts?

Please post photos of this guitar include one of the serial number and the front of the headstock.
