Pickguard screws for Tribute S500

Post by rooster59 »

Hi,

What size are the pickguard screws for a Tribute S500? Inside the cavity is a barcode that says 7494-0305-010-1-26-0 G&L NAT S500 PRE-R . It's probably 20 years old. The pots all crapped out, replaced them with american size pots, sounds great now. Lost 1 screw.

Thanks in advance.

The G&L Tributes were made in Korea (2003-2006) and those made in Indonesia (2007-present). The made in Japan Tribute Series were made in the 90's.

I think the pickguard screw size for both US made and Tributes are 4-1/2” Oval head. Reference post: G&L pickguard screws.

Hope this helps.

Thank you. The local Ace hardware had oval head sheet metal screws. The size 4 x 1/2" fit, size 6 is too big for the hole. The head on the 4's is smaller than the original, size 6 head matches. Using the 4 x 1/2".
