G&L USA Legacy Special

Post by rauchman »

Greetings,

Haven't posted in a while. A couple of years ago, I had purchased 2 USA Legacy Specials. One of them just didn't gel with me, but the one remaining has become one of my holy "3" (G&L, LP Custom, Warmoth Tele).

I've become a big fan of this guitar. Playbility is great, but the sound is even better. It lives between a humbucker and a single coil, leaning towards the HB side, and it's gorgeous. Very expressive, but has some meat to it. I've tried the Seymour Duncan Hot Rails set in another G&L, but like these pups better.

That looks like a great guitar; I appreciate Hot Rails, so want to give one of these a spin :)

My first G&L was this Red Swirl Legacy Special and it is still one of my favorites. I ordered the Sunburst new in 2002 as a build to order and recently found a Cherryburst from 1993.
