The place to discuss, post photos, video, and audio of the G&L products (US instruments, stomp boxes, etc.) produced after 1991, including the amps & gear we use with them.
This beauty came my way back in the fall just never got round to posting.
Some of you have heard my tale of the ASAT Commemorative that got away back in 1992. Well campers, when I saw this one it was not going to get away again. In person these are about as beautiful as they come. The mix of cherryburst and gold hardware is a sight to behold.
8.14 lbs but very balanced. Tone is the G&L ASAT Classic we all have come to love.
If you have a G&L that got away and have a chance to reclaim the lost glory, by all means find a way to bring the beauty home!
This was a long time coming but you know the feeling when the stars align. Got it without certificate and case candy but in the grand scheme no great loss. When the triple bound ASAT signature came into the fold a few years back I thought that would fill the Commemorative spot. Upon arrival I realized this is a special guitar.
Simply lovely. That grain!! I know the love for a top-bound ASAT Classic Signature. And a friend just joined the choir with an (unbound) ASAT Classic Signature.
Thanks guys. Dan I am getting a cool visual of you whistling at this one. Paul it's somewhere between 5 and 7! Tom, the grain was an added bonus for sure. Glad to hear of your convert joining the ASAT Classic Signature choir.
