Broadcaster BC00520

Post by MUNSTER38 »

So I won the bid on Ebay for Broadcaster BC00520 and I just received it today. I have to say its cleaner than I expected, maybe a little too clean. Hope its real, it looks legit although the pickguard kinda looks a little funny to me. I did find one interesting hang tag in the envelope that I would like an opinion on if I can figure out how to post a picture.

Cheers

That is the real deal and the pick guard looks perfect. The tag is most likely from a store. The maple neck versions are rare and yours is beautiful. I have a lefty version of that.

enjoy,

Awesome! Thanks, I was hoping to hear that. I have been after one of these for a long time was very happy when I won the bid. I went after it with the intent to win but I expected to pay a bit more for it.

Congrats! A good Broadcaster is so worth having! I saw that listing but forgot to follow that auction; may I ask what the winning bid was?

Winning bid was $2036 + 40 to ship. Good seller too cause he shipped it from Pennsylvania to Alaska and didnt ask for more money for shipping and Im pretty sure it was closer to $100. I waited till the last 40 seconds and threw $3500 on it to be sure I was high enough to beat out the auto bids. I figured it would land closer to $2500. It looks perfect, the scratch next to the E tuner is really the only significant damage anywhere on it, looks like its lived in the case for 34 years. This is a happy guy right here!

Eh, the image is unavailable... Anyways, getting a bona fide Broadcaster for $2076 is a steal and $3500 is still a normal price, which one of both did you pay finally?
