NGD - Jorgenson ASAT

Post by jdetente »

I had promised myself that I was out of the guitar buying business for the foreseeable future but when this popped on Fleabay, I couldn't resist bidding on it. Overall in pretty great shape. Appears that a previous owner replaced the pickguard but going off of the code on the back, they had purchased it from Pickguard Planet who previously made OEM pickguards for G&L. Took delivery of the guitar last night and spent a couple hours playing it. As always for G&Ls, the neck is a thing of beauty. It plays really well and sounds great. Loving this thing!

Congrats jdetente! :alright:

Great score, those are real lookers and the big MFD’s are sweet as ever.

Glad to see that stayed in the GLDP family, will look for more updates as you play her. Be sure to get it in the registry.

PS: Give up on trying to get out of the guitar buying business, GAS always wins.

Nice find. I don't know what pickguard would have been original, but I think the mirrored one you have is cool.
