FS: Alpine white Kiloton Tribute NEAR MINT

Post by neutralomen »

FOR SALE: A near-mint Kiloton Tribute in Alpine white.

This bass was bought as a backup and rarely used. Almost no mileage on the frets.

I keep my space humidified and the bass is setup with low action and a super straight neck.

there are two small things keeping this from being mint.
1. I removed the factory shim. Most Tributes come with a small sandpaper shim, which leaves a little empty space in the neck pocket. I do not think this is healthy for a bass, and in this particular case, the bass didn't need a shim. If you do want to re-install a shim, I recommend getting one cut to the size of the neck pocket so there is no empty space.

2. The frets were dressed, and a little bit of rosewood chipped off the treble side of fret 2(shown in picture). This probably wouldn't have been noticed if I didn't bring anything up, and it is easy enough to sand smoother if you choose. Does not effect playability at all.

These go for $599 new. I'm looking for $400. PM me if you're interested.
