What's the difference?
I have an Invader XL Standard with a saddle lock bridge. I'm thinking of ordering either a Legacy Deluxe or an Invader Deluxe with a #1 neck and dual fulcrum tremelo. What's the difference between the two models? The body shape is slightly different from what I can tell....anything else? Thanks for your comments!

Hmm, have not heard of an Invader Deluxe, only the Invader, Invader Plus and Invader XL. Here's a link to G&L current USA models.StratsRock wrote:I have an Invader XL Standard with a saddle lock bridge. You should be able to see the specs and options for the models you are interested in.
Hope this helps.

Re: What's the difference?
Oops...I was probably thinking ahead to the Legacy deluxe. My goal is to get a twin to my Invader XL Standard but with a G&L tremolo & HSS pickup configuration. Since my XL has a 1 5/8 nut, which I believe is a #1 neck, I became somewhat interested in going the Legacy Deluxe with no top route. My curiosity lies with the differences in the body & what those differences are along with any other variations in measurement, shape or length. Of course I am assuming I could order a twin Invader with G&L dual fulcrum tremolo. If not, then the Legacy Deluxe would be close from what I can tell.

I don't think that G&L offers the Invader XL with the DF trem. The only trem bridge is the Floyd Rose USA locking vibrato system, according to the G&L website. However, I suggest you contact your local G&L dealer and ask them to find out if you canStratsRock wrote:Oops...I was probably thinking ahead to the Legacy deluxe. special order one with the DF trem. Certainly won't hurt to ask.
Yes, your Invader XL Standard Fullerton has the #1 neck. The current Invader models have the #3 neck (1 11/16 nut width). Also, another difference between the Invader XL Fullerton Standard and the Invader XL, is that the pickups are G&L's alnico humbuckers, while the current Invader XL has Seymour Duncan pickups (Neck - Seymour Duncan '59 SH-1, Bridge - Seymour Duncan TB-4).
Hope this helps.
