Humbucker spacing on G&L trem?

Post by Toejam »

On G&Ls with humbuckers in the bridge, are the pickups F-spaced/Tremolo spaced or standard spacing?

They are F-spaced (aka Wide spacing), see: Decoding the various G&L pickup part numbers.

Hope this helps.

Definitely F-Spaced. The DiMarzio crunch lab in my Legacy is a regular one and the alignment with the polepieces is just a bit off. Been using it like this for almost 2 years and it sounds fine, but it bothers me haha.
