Legacy CLF-100 pickups - In or out of phase with Dimarzios?

Post by Handyman »

I just ordered a HSS pickguard for my 2014 US SSS Legacy - I'm planning to swap in a Dimarzio Norton in the bridge position along with the stock CLF-100 neck and middle pickups.

Anyone know if the default wiring for a Dimarzio humbucker is in or out of phase with the Legacy pickups? I'd really hate to install and re-assemble everything only to realize I need to open it back up to re-do the pickup connections.

Alternatively, is there a proper wiring diagram for the factory HSS Legacy that uses the Duncan JB? I know that Duncan and Dimarzios are in phase with each other.

Clip leads and not totally reassembling it before testing are your friends.
