I had a question about some tuners I'm getting ready to sell.
I am pretty sure they are for a USA G&L but I thought I'd confirm that before writing my auction/marketplace description.
here are some pics:
...they are stamped "japan" , any info is appreciated ( era, gear ratio, etc.)
thanks in advance,
Elwood

Re: G&L tuners
They are probably from one of the early Japan Tribute models.
As I've never seen any tuners on an USA G&L having that hole for fixation with a screw. The always have a pin.

Re: G&L tuners
Thanks Miles,
I couldn't quite remember where they came from and the japan stamp had me suspicious that they weren't meant for a USA model, but I've never had a japanese tribby...hence my confusion.
I must have bought the set on ebay in one of my manic G&L collecting episodes.
cheers,
Elwood
