String height and relief settings for G&L's with 7.5" radius

Post by toddcleo »

I checked the forums but couldn't find anything specific for a 7.5" radius fretboard for my new 2017 Legacy. Fender list their specs for a Strat with a 7.25 radius fretboard at being 1/64th higher on the bass side for string height. This makes perfect sense to me because the drastic upward fret curve is more likely to strike the bass side strings as they vibrate sideways. They also list the relief being more... .012 as opposed to .008 - .010 for flatter fretboards. Not sure why...

Does G&L have any specific settings for their guitars with a 7.5" radius fretboard?
