ASAT Classic S Alnico

Post by jackstraw »

I'm 95%+ sure I'm going to kick off a ASAT Classic S Alnico build. I'm looking for input on Alder vs. Swamp Ash from others with ASAT Alnico models. Which would you recommend and why?

I'll be doing a body with both arm and belly contours. If I go Alder I'd probably go Lake Placid Blue Frost and with Swamp Ash I'll go Vintage Natural Frost.

Thanks in advance for the input...

I'm of the opinion that it doesn't make a huge difference but saying that, the two ASATs I've kept both have ash bodies. Ash is a part of the classic T-type recipe so may as well stick to it.
